APPOINTMENTS FOR PODIATRY SERVICES
Clinic opening times are 8am to 9pm Monday and Thursday; Tuesday 8am -5pm; Wednesday 8am- 6pm and Friday 8am 6pm. Saturday clinic are available but are pre-booked. Every effort is made to make the appointment time as a convenient as possible. Appointments outside of these hours can be made by prior arrangement. An additional fee may be charged.
REGISTRATION:
In order to provide a high quality service, we ask that each person, when they first attend the clinic a medical history detailing your medication, allergies etc. The information provided will be held on our records and will be confidential. Please can you update us of any changes.
FEES:
The initial fee for new patients is £50 which includes registration and the consultation and treatment, taken at the time. All routine follow up treatment consultations are £45, a biomechanical gait analysis assessment is from £150, the 3D foot scan appointment is from £96, nail surgery (removal of a toenail and 2 follow up appts) is £350 and are payable on the day. Excluding the Free advisory 15 minute appointment, any additional 15 minute appointments will be charged at £30. Written reports are £45.
We accept all major credit cards, but not cheques. If you are referred on to a consultant, they will be able to inform you of their own specific fees and method of payment.
By accepting/consenting to treatment, you as the patient, agree to pay all fees relevant to the treatment/service that you have or are going to receive.
Should a payment for a consultatation/treatment not be paid within 5 days, a 20% daily charge will be added from the day of the appointment, and will continue to be applied until all payment fees and charges have been made.
For those that flaunt payment of fees, in very exceptional circumstances, debt collection will be instigated.
Please note, if there is difficulty in making any payment, please make the clinic manager aware. A repayment arrangement, may be made, if required.
Custom Orthoses and other Insoles:
Temporary insoles, prefabricated and Custom orthoses with custom additions, range from £35, £96 and £299, respectively.
The first review appointment of Custom made and prefabricated orthoses only are free. Review appointments thereafter are charged at £30. If any other treatment is required, the standard appointment fee of £45 will be charged only. Sometimes a small alteration may be required. Therefore, the first alteration, if required is free. However, post and packaging(P&P) is a separate and additional fee. Further and additional alterations are charged at cost price, plus the P&P. When the orthoses begin to wear out due to wear and tear, the custom made orthoses can be refurbished to look brand new. Please note, a new pair of custom made orthoses are not necessary. The cost to refurbish the orthoses is £112 plus P&P.
No refunds.
MEDICAL INSURANCE:
We are registered with all medical insurance companies. For example BUPA, Cigna, Simply Health, Aviva, Vitality and many more. Unfortunatley AXA PPP, for an unknown reason, do not accept Podiatry consultations.
CANCELLATION OF APPOINTMENTS:
Kinetic Podiatry Clinic requires 24 hours’ notice for all cancellations of an appointment. Appointments cancelled on the day will be subject to a charge of, for an initial consultation £50, a routine appointment £45, a biomechanical/gait analysis assessment from £150 and a nail surgery appointment £350. All no shows are subject to a charge of the respective appointment fee.

Out of Hours Service
Appointments out of hours are available, please speak with the reception. A £25 fee in addition to the specific appointment fee will be charged.
HOME VISITS:
These can be arranged for patients (fee will apply). Home visits can be very time consuming; we kindly ask that you attend clinic whenever possible.
DISABLED FACILITIES:
The clinic is located on the 1st floor of the Brentwood Centre, a lift is located beside the clinic entrance. At Sunny Smiles the clinic is located on the 2nd floor, therefore a homevisit will be arranged to accomadate. If you have a disability, hearing or visual loss and need us to communicate with you in a particular way, please let the team know.

These can be raised with any clinic staff at any time or please feel free to email your constructive criticism. If you have any justification to warrant a complaint, please put this in writing to the Clinic Manager.
